I really like the look of black and white photos, but when I go to make some prints, I always get stuck up on how much I love the color! Bryon and Leah recently had engagement photos done and most of them were given in color and black and white. I chose a fun one that I could use with some Simple Stories that I picked up. I decided to go with the bright products to help the photo stand out. It does blend in well with the darker matte.

Awkward School Dance Pose
The Challenge: Use black and white photos on your layout.

Twitterpated
I am excited to begin my term on the CSI design team with this super fun reveal!
This case is full of Spring and I chose this pair of Cardinals as my subject. The birds are all a twitter with donning their best plumage, foraging for food, and finding that perfect mate. I created my background by painting a layer of gesso on black card stock and then took a dry brush to rough it up and finally too the wood end of the brush and made the slat lines. It actually turned out like what I saw in my head! That doesn't happen too often.
For my evidence I used: wood, paint, distressing, and a fence. My journaling is on the wonders of Spring.
