Mermaid Hair, Don't Care

Hi, coming to you with some fun new hair, stamps from Unity Stamp Co, and flair from A Flair For Buttons! My daughter in law gave me mermaid hair and of course I needed to do a layout. The Sand and Sun Flair and Hello Summer Flair were the perfect embellishments for my story.

'Tis the Season to be Jolly

It's Christmas in July at Scrapbook.com! Come beat the summer heat and find great deals on supplies for all of your Christmas crafting needs.

Did you know that Scrapbook.com has exclusive supplies, including stamps? I love their Christmas stamp line and had to create a fun, cool alcohol ink card using this large sentiment from Big and Bold. I created an alcohol ink background on Yuppo paper, then used the lift ink pad to stamp my sentiment. Easy peasy and so fun.

The best part is that all Scrapbook.com exclusives are on sale now! And there are gifts given each day.

Until next time, happy crafting!

Lawn Fawn Galaxy Kitty Card

I recently picked up Lawn Fawn's Keep On Swimming. The kitty that is in the set is so cute. He's supposed to be looking up at the fish in the bowl, but I thought it would be fun to have him looking up at the night sky. I thought using some of the sentiments from Critter Chats would be super fun. I love the translations.

1. Build galaxy sky by blending bright spot onto watercolor paper with Distress Oxide inks
2. Build up the night sky using Blueprint Sketch and Black Soot Oxide inks.
3. Spritz with water and flick white paint for stars
4. Die cut with decorative border die
5. Die cut hill with hill die, then die cut the bottom portion with first border die
6. Color and cut out kitty; glue down on hill
7. Emboss sentiments with white on black cardstock; adhere to card

Until next time, happy crafting!
